While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Korea, “champion[ing] liberty wherever the tyranny of communism is the aggressor,” the supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down United States v. Reynolds, inventing the “State’s Secrets Privilege”: the Federal government is not required to divulge evidence in a civil trial, when such disclosure would compromise “national security.”

       NOTE: Ostensibly the state secrets privilege to protect national security; yet all too often the real reason for the SSP is to prevent embarrassment to the Federal government.
