The Supreme Court, of the federal united States, decides Chisholm v. Georgia: A state may be sued by a sovereign Citizen from a different State.
NOTE: Georgia refused to acknowledge the suit, insisting that Chisholm had to sue in their State courts.
Postscript: Two days later an article of amendment was introduced in both houses of Congress, in an effort to reverse this decision.
