Drug Enforcement agents (acting under color-of-law) arrest Debbie Vineyard for agreeing to send a pair of boots to an acquaintance of her husband.  Vineyard had no idea the man had just been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Administration, and was trying to finger her, in exchange for a lighter sentence.  “Rick” told the DEA that methamphetamine and heroin would be delivered in the boots.  The DEA immediately staged a raid on the Vineyard home, where the boots were found stuffed with newspapers.  No drugs are found in the home.

Postscript: Vinyard was sentenced to ten years in prison.
