The Federal court for the southern district of new york hands down, United states v. Schulte: after two trials judge Paul A. Crotty sentences Joshua A. Schulte, a former Central Intelligence Agency software engineer, to 40 years in prison for releasing “Vault 7,” which exposed various computer software innovations developed by the CIA to compromise consumer devices.
