While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto President George W. Bush (having received an unlawful advantage of 43 ineligible Electoral votes) delivers his farewell address to the nation:

       When challenges to our prosperity emerged, we rose to meet them.  Facing the prospect of a financial collapse, we took decisive measures to safeguard our economy. … We will show the world once again the resilience of America’s free enterprise system.

       Like all who have held this office before me, I have experienced setbacks.  And there are things I would do differently if given the chance.  Yet I’ve always acted with the best interests of our country in mind. …

· · · · · · ·

       … In the 21st century, security and prosperity at home depend on the expansion of liberty abroad.  If America does not lead the cause of freedom, that cause will not be led.

       NOTE: Bush was the first Republican in half a century to run for the presidency without calling for reducing, let alone eliminating, a single Federal agency.  During his eight years in office, Bush presided over the largest expansion of government spending since Lyndon Johnson initiated the Great Society:

  • Domestic spending increased by 27 percent;
  • More people worked for the Federal government than at any time since the Cold War;
  • Not a single Federal program was eliminated;
  • Enacted the largest new entitlement program since the creation of Medicare and Medicaid, an unfunded Medicare prescription drug benefit that could add as much as 11,200,000,000,000 “dollars” to the program’s unfunded liabilities;
  • Dramatically increased Federal control over local schools while increasing Federal education spending by nearly 61%;
  • Signed a campaign finance bill that greatly restricts freedom of speech, despite saying he believed it was unconstitutional;
  • Authorized warrantless wiretapping and given vast new powers to statute enforcement;
  • Federalized airport security and created a new cabinet-level Department of Homeland Security (domestic military aggression);
  • Added roughly 7,000 pages of new Federal regulations, bringing the cost of Federal regulations to the economy to more than $1,100,000,000,000 “dollars”;
  • Enacted a $1,500,000,000 “dollar” program to promote marriage;
  • Proposed a $1,700,000,000 “dollar” initiative to develop a hydrogen-powered car;
  • Abandoned traditional conservative support for free trade by imposing tariffs and other import restrictions on steel and lumber; and
  • Increased farm subsidies.

       The Democratic (socialist/fascist) 48th counterfeit CONgress (elected in accordance with the fraudulent 17th amendment) votes to release of the second half of the 350,000,000,000 “dollars” in Troubled (worth less) Asset Relief Funds.

       The georgia court of appeals hands down Tesler v. state, overturning the four-and-a-half-year prison given to Arthur Tesler, a former plainclothes Atlanta, georgia statute enforcement officer.  Tesler had ordered the firing of a hail of bullets into 92-year-old Kathryn Johnston after she tried to defended her home from who she believed to be a “hot burglar.”

       Denver, colorado statute enforcement officers Ricky Nixon, Randy Murr and Tiffany Middleton (acting under-color-of-law) beat Alex Landau, a 19-year-old college student, for asking for a search warrant when they asked him for permission to search his “vehicle” (a legal term for an “automobile or truck” bearing goods, services or persons in commercial transit).  Landau lost consciousness, and suffered 45 stitches, a broken nose and brain trauma.  When he regains consciousness, one of the SEOs asks him, ‘Where’s that warrant now you f_______ n_____?”
