The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Perpich v. Department of Defense: CONgress may order the deployment of a state’s National Guard (United states Soldiers) outside the U.s. against the wishes of the governor.

        NOTE: The courts have almost never challenged the president in the arena of foreign policy.
